Jennifer Low –  Director Health, Safety, Resilience and Digital Policy at Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI)

As Director, Health, Safety, Resilience and Digital Policy at ACCI, Jennifer provides policy leadership and advocacy on a wide range of issues relevant to ACCI members, ensuring they have a voice at Federal and State levels of government.

 

She currently sits on the boards of Safe Work Australia, the Asbestos and Silica Safety Eradication Agency, the Work Health Safety Commission of WA and the Sleep Health Foundation. She is also appointed to several federal and international advisory committees.

 

Jennifer has 14 years of policy and consulting experience across regulatory design, policy development, strategic planning, training, people and safety and has been involved in a wide range of legislative workplace reforms.

 

In this presentation, Jennifer will share her experience of how WHS and Workers’ Compensation legislation and guidance is developed in Australia and the opportunities for HFESA members to influence policy development.
