Dear HFESA Members,

A new Special Interest Group on Human Systems Integration has been approved by the Board and will be holding a kick-off meeting on Monday 21st October 2024 from 17:30-18:30.

The Human Systems Integration (HSI) SIG focusses on approaches that integrate technology, organisations and people effectively across the breadth of the system lifecycle. Bringing together Human Factors technical expertise with appropriate management of activities that ensure that the human has been adequately considered throughout complex system development programs. HSI may be applied in many different domains of human factors and ergonomics and may be integrated with other specialities.

At this stage we are seeking to have a kick-off meeting with HFESA members who may be interested in joining the group.
